I obtained a BSc Physics in 2005 from the University of Surrey. As part of the course I also spent a placement year at The Met Office. Below are some of the projects and coursework that formed part of the degree.
Pentaquark Report - A final year project on particle theory titled 'Correlation Effects on the Size of the Theta Plus Pentaquark'.
Pentaquark Paper - An article based on my final year project that appeared in the SEPS Undergraduate Research Journal.
Radiation Biophysics: Imaging - A piece of cousework on PET and SPET imaging for the Radiation Biophysics module.
Radiation Biophysics: Therapy - Cousework on Superposition/Convolution methods of dose calculation.
Physics of Stars Courseworks - A comparison of the Polytrope and Clayton methods for modelling stars.
Placement Report - A report on my year at the Met Office. Here is a presentation I gave and an interim report.
Exploring the Solar System Report - 'The Earth's Moon: Theories of its Origin and Evolution'.
Waves in Physics Report - 'The Physics of Seismic Waves'.
